AI-built test environments
Agents that build test versions of external services, so AI-generated security workflows can be tried without connecting to the real service.
I’m Pei-Yu (Jerry) Tseng, a Ph.D. candidate at Penn State. I build AI agents for security automation, from generated test environments to benchmarks for training small models to write playbooks.

Building a benchmark for security playbook generation, with the goal of training small language models to write workflows that meet task requirements and policies.

I’m a Ph.D. candidate in Informatics at Penn State, advised by Professor Peng Liu. I develop AI agents that generate disposable test environments for security workflows. I am also building a benchmark for playbook generation, with the goal of training small language models to write those workflows.
Before Penn State, I worked at Academia Sinica on threat intelligence, graph-based attack detection, and system telemetry. Earlier roles in penetration testing and network administration shape how I approach the tools and infrastructure that security automation needs to work with.
